Salty Tales: Short Stories & Poems

The Sea is the connecting theme in this collection titled "Salty Tales" set in the rural backdrop of the island of Dominica. These tales capture life on the island as observed by the author, Sharon Dorival; these are stories of survival, resilience, optimism and stoic calm in the face of the madness and injustice of the world. The relationship between humankind and nature can be serious and gloomy, therefore, the author wants readers to experience human strength in a light-hearted manner.
