Changed Lives: A Bible Study Series for Churches, Fellowship Groups & Families

CHANGED LIVES is a series of Bible Study lessons we have used repeatedly in The Trinity Chapel, Federal University of Technology, Yola and in some other Churches with great delight and results. The benefit derived from it challenged us to consider making it available in print and online for you. Within the 16 studies contained, Changed Lives attempts to bring to the analytical laboratory the lives of people who were not Christians in the first instance until they encountered Jesus Christ. Thereafter, their lives did not remain the same. These characters include thieves, murderers, fornicators, religionists and zealots. You will see that Jesus made the difference in the lives of each of these people and can do so to men and women in our generation if we would point them to Jesus.
The Bible Study pattern used in the preparation of this book presents a topic, text, memory verse, introduction, study issues and a conclusion. Some relevant Christian hymns punctuated the studies to drive home the lessons contained. We encourage you to read the text and other Bible references in the study so as to base your conclusions not merely on our comments or the philosophy of men but on the ever true living word of our God. Where the studies are undertaken in group, we encourage the leader to be focused and make sure that at the end of the day, the original life of the character being studied is clearly known by the participants and what change Jesus made in that life after all. He should eventually lead participants to make the necessary changes in their lives as they invite Jesus to do the life changing work on each participant
