Vines Upon a Stone

Featuring over eighty poems, "Vines Upon a Stone" follows a once-dormant being as he awakens to discover both the world and who he is, over the course of three parts. Each part consists of sonnets, cinquains, and other poems covering worldly exploration, difficult introspection, and many other themes, unified in their sections by their themes. From a trek through a blizzard to a struggle atop a volcano, "Vines Upon a Stone" explores the trials that one must overcome when facing the world, as it exists both outside of and within themselves - trials as ceaseless and plentiful as overgrowing vines.
