Three days at grandma's house

Three days at grandma's house
Hello there!
As the title says, our story covers a few days a young boy spent at his grandmother's house, in the summer of 1983 to be more precise. He's around 6 years old, and at that age we all know the whole world seems almost magical, with new discoveries and adventures every day. This is true especially in grandma's village, a village that looked stuck in the 1800's, were people were still riding in carriages pulled by horses and every house looked like a farm with numerous animals. Most of the animals were roaming free, always crossing the only road passing through the village, ducks and geese flying around and landing on the soccer field, chickens laying eggs in every hidden spot they could find, pigs bathing in the mud, horses, cows and goats everywhere . And lots of friendly people. This village is only 30 miles away from the city, but the only bus that goes there takes about two hours to make the trip, with numerous bus stops they have along the way.
Back then, kids did not have smartphones, tablets or game pods, pretty much no electronic gadgets at all, so they were all relying on there imagination to play. And that's exactly what they were doing all day long.
I hope you find this little story amusing and enjoy it, as I did writing it.
