A crucial element in the story is also a spaceship that has housed around five thousand people for the past 30 years, since the planet became uninhabitable. It is a novel classifiable as Cli-fi, climate fiction, delving into the emotions of the protagonists and their struggle for survival. It also aims to pay homage to Manuel de Pedrolo and his "Mecanoescrito del segundo origen" and to George Orwell and his "1984."
