Five unrelated individuals, each with their own vices and sins, are leading their lives blissfully unaware what the year ahead of them will bring. Each of them will make a new friend who will guide them; testing their resolve and questioning their lifestyles. They were happy and set in their ways, but deep down there was something missing, though they didn't realize it at first. They never considered themselves complete, yet for the most part they considered themselves to be perfect, prideful as they were.
All the while feeling an eerie supernatural presence, they cannot shake the feeling they are in the company of something other-worldly; something they should not fear despite their feelings of uneasiness.The desire for change grows within each of them; their lifestyles, personal lives and relationships gradually take fresh paths as they begin to understand the real importance of their attitudes and behaviours, and more importantly, how it affects those around them.
In the end all five are united for the final trial, and their lessons are put to the test. The five enigmatic characters who are the central key figures in their personal development share a secret; one which is revealed by a final act...
