Parenting: An Unprepared Journey

This book, PARENTING: AN UNPREPARED JOURNEY, is for parents and intending parents. It takes parents through their parenting journey, offering guidance to parents, particularly new and expecting parents, based on Biblical principles.
It shows how important children are to God, being His special gift, treasure, and heritage. Therefore, He stands by parents throughout their parenting journey. He is always willing to help, lead, direct and guide parents in nurturing their children, especially those who seek his face regularly.

It looks at the two seasons of parenting; the joyful and the challenging seasons, and provides guidance on how to support the children in these seasons. It guides parents on how to nurture their children to navigate this earth according to the word of God so they can avoid the pits and traps of this world and even when they trip and fall, God will help them back on their feet.

Parenting is a rewarding calling and just as God trusted Abraham to bring up His children and members of His household in line with God's words, He trusts parents to do the same and, in return, rewards them. It teaches that parenting is not burdensome if parents depend on God and follow in His footsteps because in challenging times, He will bear the burdens and provide solutions while the parents rest.

Included in this book are prayer guides and declarations of God's promises for children, from the unborn to the older ones, to positively influence their lives.
