Alexander can only stare at Jake with wide eyes. He picks his little trolley back up as he politely says, "I... think you've mistaken me for someone else, I've never met you before and I'm not sure what you're talking about."
Jake practically bounces over to Alex and grabs the other man's unoccupied hand and starts shaking it while introducing himself, "Sorry! Where are my manners?! I must have left them on the floor with my jaw when I spotted you across the way! HI! I'm Jake! Are you the handsome doctor plowing my best friend?!"
The question just makes his stomach drop. He's extremely uncomfortable and becoming red in the face. In a panic over the blunt and point-blank range of the question Alexander fumbles for an answer and settles on a simple, yet very confused sounding, "W-what?! No?"
Still shaking Alex's hand, Jake asks with a raised brow, "No to being handsome, or no to sleeping with my friend?" Jake, very obviously sizing Alex up, pauses and ogles at his feet and asks with raised eyebrows, a shit-eating-grin and a little indicating nod, "What shoe size are you, buddy? Are those sixteens...? Seventeens?" Jake's eyebrows wiggle suggestively.
"Do I look like a clown to you?" Alex asks, taking offense to the question. What Jake is insinuating goes right over his head and Jake realizes that.
