Leah's adventure starts with a family trip to Savannah. Leah is so excited about the boat trip, visiting the nice shops, city market and the beautiful parks. Dinner at the Pink House was the treat of the day. Leah loved Savannah but the evening trolley experience was more than she could handle.
Once Leah returns home, she confides in her friend and mentor, Lucy. Lucy is an old pug who lives next door. During their conversation, Tessie, a Siamese cat drops by to lend her sarcastic opinion.
It's not long into Leah's story when an older man appears in his doorway across the street and yells, 'Bo! Bo! Don't make me come looking for you!' Leah yells, "Run, guys! Someone just yelled, Boo! Boo! You don't want to be around, it may not safe!"
As Leah races to her house, Lucy and Tessie can only watch. Tessie says, "My goodness, I cannot believe this little girl?" Lucy replies, "What an imagination? I have got to have a talk with that little girl."
