In sad times, your memory aches, Yet, love and hope, the soul awakes. An older man's counsel, a touch so divine, A healing prayer, love's baptismal sign.

Through trials, troubles, a storm's might, Love flowed like water, pure and bright. A changed man, as the dawn did break, A different path, a life to remake.

Grateful for love, for life, for being, Existence cherished, the heart agreeing. Thoughts shape existence, love makes it thrive, In love, we live, in love, we survive.
