Growing Up with The Best Dad

Most children's books focused only on the mother and many do not include the father at all. As a result, the author made a homemade book that featured photos of the author's child and his father doing every day activities and having fun together. Growing up with the Best Dad is the illustrated version of that homemade book.

Fathers are more involved in their children's lives than ever, but children's books haven't changed much.
Acccording to Pew Research, nearly 1 in 5 fathers is now a stay at home father, which means the number has doubled in the last 30 years. It's nice for children of stay and home dads to have a book that looks a lot like a typical day.

This children's book was purposefully drafted to feature only the father. This makes for a wonderful book celebrating fatherhood suitable for any family. However, not including the mother makes it especially appropriate for children with fathers who are single parents or widowers or who's parents are both male.
