Beyond the Horizon Without Limit: We Can Do Everything We Want But We Don't Want Everything We Can Do

You've started spinning on the hamster wheel, sometimes running as if you had a destination, which for many is the onset of old age, namely the period when you should be enjoying the hardships of life. The truth is that the hamster wheel is a sterile exercise, often a strenuous job, in which the only thing we feed is merely being alive. Deafened by the cacophony surrounding you, you end up convincing yourself that the important matters are those you passively absorb from the media, whether it be TV, social media, or newspapers, or those you overhear from your colleagues or in occasional conversations at the bar or restaurant. The chatter is deafening and incessant, hindering your ability to think freely, infiltrating your mind and compelling you to dwell on these matters, keeping you distracted and simultaneously consumed by the relentless pace of the hamster wheel. You ultimately find yourself perfectly aligning with the masses, believing you are expressing your opinion freely when you dissent or concur on matters you did not choose to engage with and for which, more often than not, you have no genuine interest. Thus, the cycle perpetuates! Each day, your mind is preoccupied with thoughts toward which you hold no genuine interest and which often evoke negative emotions, engaged in a purposeless and never-ending pursuit other than death, convinced you are the protagonist of your aspirations' fulfillment, yet simultaneously feeling unfulfilled. You know you are alive, yet you do not feel alive.
