Also, a female sister by the name of Merab; all born of the same parents (I Samuel 14:49-50). At the meanwhile, The Old Testament tells the story of Bathsheba. She was a beautiful young Jewish girl, daughter of Eliam. Her Hebrew name was Bathsheba which means: "The seventh daughter or daughter of the oath". The beautiful Bathsheba married Uriah the Hittite, one of King David's soldiers, who was on the battlefield under the orders of General Joab. And, Abigail was an intelligent and very beautiful woman. She was the wife of a wealthy man named Nabal. They both lived in the city of Maon, in the desert of Pharaoh, near Hebron.
