Ask Mr Aardvark continues the saga of Zot Mormon and the Simply Simon Community Theater.

It is 2007 and the new Simply Simon Community Theater is finished celebrating the success of their first show, Neil Simon's first Broadway play, Come Blow Your Horn. They decide to follow on with Simon's second play, which is the musical Little Me.

Ask Mr Aardvark is a Composite Novel. Famous examples of this genre include One Thousand and One Nights, The Decameron, and The Canterbury Tales, and like Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, this composite novel is a collection of extended character descriptions and interconnected short stories about how these characters interact with each other during the rehearsals and performances of Simply Simon Theater's production of the musical Little Me.

Anyone who has been involved with all-volunteer community theater will immediately agree that the people involved in each production are at least as interesting as the plot of the show on stage. Some of the characters that you'll meet in Ask Mr Aardvark include:

Morton Zyzzerz, Music Director, intense dysgraphic, color deviant, and true hermaphrodite, whose best friend is an anthropomorphic aardvark who swears in Italian.

Gregor Sinjun, fantastically talented actor and singer, Sid Caesar wannabe - and closet Republican.

Gloria Glass, reluctantly aging diva, and avid Phishhead.

Brothers Clyde Cloun and Clark Cloun, when in doubt, send them in!

Bonnie Cachet, AKA Rebecca Florida, hypergargalesthesiac and Satanist.

Paavo Twelve Twelve, First Nation computer whiz, community theater newbie, and a hunk.

Peggy Smith-Morris-Auclair-Smith, often married Treasurer for Simply Simon and Paavo's new squeeze. Will he add another hyphen to her name?.

Max Hedrum, tavern owner, landlord, pro wrestler, and former art thief.

... and more!
