Humans had long thought to be extinct before Fiori washed up on the shore as a baby. She doesn't know the mystery of her origin, but she's happy with her adoptive family of forest nymphs. However, the extent she would be willing to go for her found family is put to the test when her sister winds up in a dire situation. With nobody else to turn to for help, Fiori finds herself desperate enough to make a deal with Myrion, a vampire she hardly knows.
