Rumor has become reality.

The threat, once only whispered about, now stalks both forest and plain. Where it kills, the seeds of putrescence take root. And the flower that blooms is death. Poison taints flesh riven by thorns, stealing the sanity of those who suffer.

But there are five intrepid souls who do not fear destruction.

And it is they who must make a stand against this encroaching darkness. Is there a pattern behind the corruption? Is there a malevolent will that guides the thorns in the night? These questions must be answered if the land is to be safe again.
