Hey! What's Your Backstory?

Have you thought about your backstory? Your backstory is powerful; it can change your destiny and your family's legacy. Your backstory develops your self-concept, and from your self-concept, you derive your self-esteem and identity. Who you are is complicated. It is rooted in so many things besides just your family. It could also be entrenched in your background, personality, belief systems, birthplace and even birth order, school, family history, what you have been taught and have learned on your own, and by the influence of people in your life. We all have a backstory. Some of our backstories may include issues we want to escape. Issues in ourselves and family line that we do not want there. For those who no longer wish to dwell in their past. Who desires a life assured of a much better future for eternity. There is one way. The author was inspired to compose this book by his grandsons, who were interested in his backstory of growing up in a small town in the Philippines. As he relived his past with them, he realized their future, his descendant's eternal future, was much more important than his backstory. He was motivated to write his backstory, what he learned along the way and why he made the most important decision one has to make in this life. PROOF
