This was the simple call of Jesus to his first disciples. Their response was to drop everything and begin a new life with Jesus. To these men, following Jesus was very literal-they were going to walk on foot as Jesus led them from town to town. For us, it can be a little harder to really understand what following Jesus looks like in our own lives.

This book is for those who want to follow Jesus-or are at least considering it. For those who made a decision for Christ as a first step of discipleship. For those looking to make fresh start with Jesus. Or to look into what following Jesus really means before making the commitment to follow him.

Regardless of where the reader is now, the purpose of this book is to demonstrate what following Jesus looks like and to help each reader take the first steps into a life with Jesus and to set a foundation of beliefs and habits that will serve you well as God leads you on your unique adventure with him.
