Chase Donavan became the soul custodial parent of his brother Jonathan at nineteen, following their parent's untimely death. Promising his father on his death bed that he would keep his younger brother safe. However, J.J, had a different plan in mind when he snuck off, disobeying his brethren's orders, only to lose his life in a boating accident. Delivering a pack Chase had left at the pharmacy allowed her to see that Chase had returned.
This was all well and good, but Chase's return sparked the mind of another, who would stop at nothing until she had Chase where he belonged, with her. Chase and Lacy will have to remain clear of this person trying desperately to end Lacy's life, all to be with a man who doesn't love her.
