Abysmal Downpour: A Collection Of Limericks

Abysmal Downpour is a collection of poetry that has been uniquely designed. The collection is the result of a project taken up by Nrityangana Kala Kendra where each poet had to submit five poems each. Each of these poems, just like a limerick, had to be five lines long with a rhyming scheme of AABBA. There are forty poems in this collection written by eight poets. The poems range from sarcastic limericks to nonsensical puns. While the collection doesn't strictly follow the metrical retribution of a limerick, it follows the rhyming scheme and has a pinch of humor added to it.
