Mudhal Naal / முதல் நாள்

This collection of short stories called First Day (Mudhal Naal) is the first book I have ever written. The ten short stories in it are expressions of the joy and anger that arose in my mind. I would not have written this book if it were not for literature alone. The direction of my life would have gone the other way. I too would have been a machine in a mechanical life. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the literature that saved me from them. Literature gave me joy, gave me pleasure, gave me tears and taught me to live life.

I started writing short stories when I was in my final year of college. It has been more than two years since I compiled them all into a book. I hope this book will be great for anyone who wants to start a new reading habit.
