Drifting through life, thinking he is living the American Dream, John Patmos and his family realize after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic that they were actually living more of the American "routine." The announcement of the first American shutdown and quarantine leaves the family wondering what the future will hold. Heading up to his attic, John rediscovers a hope chest left to him as an inheritance that he has never had the courage to open. Little does he know that its contents are about to take him and his family on unforgettable adventures throughout history.
