Grandpa's Broken Rememberer

Tye's father had died before he was born, and Grandpa is his world, but what would happen when that world comes crashing down? Sitting on the edge of Grandpa's bed with food trays rattling outside the door, Tye is faced with the reality that Grandpa doesn't know who he is. Tye is overwhelmed with feelings he couldn't understand, but he mostly feels betrayed. How could he forget "the Tybo"? Who, if anyone, could help deal with this sense of overwhelming loss?
