CHICKASAURUS is a kids book by author David Williams--who has published children's books with Alfred A. Knopf. He is also an Emmy winning songwriter for his work with PBS KIDS. This story, with illustrations by David, is about his discovery at 10 years of age that birds are really dinosaurs. It takes place on Thanksgiving day, and it is in the midst of turkey dinner there is an Eureka moment, though nobody believes what he has figured out, for in 1960 hardly anyone in the world imagined that birds were really living dinosaurs!
