MURDER On Big Stony Lonesome

Two fifteen-year-olds, Jack von Himmel and Sara Koleski, connect their first day at Hamot Senior High. Sara is attracted to Jack. She's new to public school and needs a friend. Jack responds to Sarah's need, but he seeks protection, too--protection from the rages of family, especially his grandfather Herman, head of the s Wisconsin's Nazi Party. When Herman learns Sarah is Jewish, suddenly it's do or die for young and old alike. The adult von Himmels fear reprisals from other hate groups so they plan to blow up the Koleski cranberry marsh. Jack must stop them. Before the conflict ends, hatred, murder, a wolf pack, and a desperate search for ten million in Nazi gold bars all struggle first in cranberry bogs, then on the bluffs of Big Stony Lonesome. FBI investigator Christine Mountain Wolf must solve the case before the KKK and Nazis find Jack and Sara.
