

Most people live in America today have a story to tell about their heritage because primarily, this is a nation of immigrants. All of these stories are different with diverse experiences, both pleasant and not so pleasant. Nan Singh, a grandchild of an immigrant from Punjab, who lives in California now, comes to know unexpectedly some shocking information about the life of his grandfather who was born in India and then migrated to the United States through Canada. The information he got bothered him tremendly. He embarked on a physical and mental journey to determine whether the information he had learned was actually true. This is the story of that journey. His grandfather started his new life outside India started in Vancouver Canada then came to America. Sikh immigrants from India mainly from Punjab started to leave India for other countries at the end of the eighteenth century.
