Les d?fis rencontr?s ont ?t? l'usage contextuel diff?rent des expressions idiomatiques, l'emploi des expressions idiomatiques de fa?on ? la fois litt?ral et figur?, et l'usage et le contexte dans lesquels elles ont ?t? employ?es. Un ?chantillon de cent soixante-seize (176) des expressions idiomatiques a ?t? relev? du corpus et a ?t? employ? dans l'analyse. EN. The principal objective of this work is to investigate the translation strategies used in the translation of idiomatic expressions from our translation of twelve (12) English stories of Dagara origin into French from the book The Wisdom Which Surpasses That of The King by Bemile (1983). The challenges faced during the translation process are the different contextual use of idiomatic expressions, the both literal and figurative use of idiomatic expressions, and the context in which they are used.
