Malati's eyes were transfixed on the horror that lay at her feet.

Stretched out was a metal drum approximately 5 and a half feet long, 4 feet wide and 2 feet high. It looked like the utensil holder that wedding caterers utilized, to collect used plates in.

But this one wasn't full of soiled or clean plates. It was filled to the brim with yellow wax that had solidified into a hard mass.

It was what lay trapped inside it, that chilled even a 20-year police veteran like Malati to the core.

Trapped in the wax was a naked woman. Very dead.
