Conceit. If nothing else, Matka is a sustained meditation on the unruly deluded state of mind as the will to pose a thumping statement as the largest force to reckon with according to one's desire. Behind all its myriad disguises, this desire seeks one's perpetuation, validation and aggrandisement.
