This book is about Piney, THE TINIEST TREE IN THE FOREST. He is hoping to be chosen as the decorated tree to stand in the Town Square at Christmas time. Sadly, he isn't chosen because he is too small and has to wait until he grows up and get bigger. He has many good friends who stand by him such as the snowman Mr. Carrot Nose, Chipper, the Chipmunk, who says he thinks he's small, he is the smallest animal in the forest. Fluffer, the squirrel who can't say much because his mouth is always full of nuts. His friends and all the animals of the forest give Piney a special Christmas present.
