The Second Book of Lazarus

Lazarus, the man Jesus Christ rose from the grave, continues his adventures to serve God. Betrayed by Father Johann, he must face hardship in today's world and recount his efforts fighting evil throughout the centuries.

In prison, Lazarus continues to tell his story to Father Johann. The man who knew Jesus but hasn't aged or died over two thousand years must find a way to escape. More importantly, he must convince Johann that he truly serves God. To do so, he describes helping bring silk to the Byzantine Empire, meeting Saint Hilda and Caedmon at the Synod of Whitby, rescuing Richard the Lionheart, serving Genghis Khan in Mongolia, witnessing the fall of Constantinople, aiding victims of the Black Plague, and more. How many more lives will Lazars change by his witness?
