Author Bio:

Rahul Dasgupta was born to Asok & Indrani Dasgupta on 14th November 1977.He studied in a school in central Calcutta till his Grade 10 and completed his Grade 12 from LaMartiniere for Boys, Calcutta. He then studied in Delhi University and finally back in Calcutta in Jadavpur University where he pursued an under graduate degree in philosophy.

Rahul started having mental health issues from Grade 10 and he was subsequently diagnosed with Schizophrenia. During this period he was under medication and counselling. After an episode of psychosis in Delhi he had to be in a mental hospital for a while. He finally left Jadavpur University and discontinued with his formal education. He later tried to do an under graduate course in Mathematics honours which he could not continue with.

While this was a very traumatic period for him it gradually led to a keen interest in spirituality, philosophy and science. He always was and gradually became more of a seeker of knowledge and started collecting and reading as many books as he could. These books are his prized possessions. The reading was accompanied by writing and he wrote down several thoughts, poetry and dreams of his own. This reflected what he was going through at that time and continues to go through. This quest for knowledge in areas of his interest has led to this book which you are holding in your hands. Now his intellectual and spiritual search is on along with his efforts at character building. He is also fighting his illness and hopes to get well one day.It is the story of a very bright mind, a mind which is different, a mind which seeks knowledge and a mind which is often traumatized and disturbed by its own thoughts.
