The Acorn, a federation spaceship is commissioned to take a group of Pilgrims to an uninhabited planet that they will be settling on. The crew is nervous about this mission, because this group believe in a god that was proven long ago to be a myth. They know that those of the Christian faith are highly skilled in brainwashing and will use everything at their disposal to turn others to their side.
