PATRICK O'BRIEN continues the journey laid out by Kozmos Lovejoy. Originally from San Francisco he now lives and dreams in Northern New Mexico. The Adventures of Kozmos Lovejoy, Exp a true story. Only the names have been changed.

This is a true story of a young man Living in North Beach San Francisco in the late 1960s. Kozmos Lovejoy was intrigued with psychedelics, spiritual mythology and Jungian therapy. One night he dreamt of a banquet in a Renaissance castle. Across from him sat a beautiful young woman, about his age, smiling like she knew him. At the end of the table stood a joyous, vibrant man, a little older than him in a toga with his hair over his shoulders. The man's energy danced as he smiled, laughed, and blessed the Feast. When he woke Koz couldn't shake the dream. And the girl...who was she? A couple of weeks later, hiking in the jungle near Puerto Vallarta, Koz discovers a spring flowing into a jungle pool. It is here that he meets Valerie, the girl in the dream, who shares with him a feast of spiritual knowledge and wisdom hidden for thousands of years in myths and metaphors buried in ancient texts. What follows is a tale of self-discovery that connects revelatory experiences in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, San Francisco, Ohio, Santa Fe, Denver, Virginia and finally at a Sufi camp high in the French Alps.

In addition to being an intimate look back to a great period of awakening consciousness, The Adventures of Kozmos Lovejoy, Exp celebrates the greater journey of self awareness. Patrick O'Brien blends his own experiences with his keen understanding of the period to create an epic adventure that will lift hearts, imaginations, and dreams of what's possible everywhere.
