Daddy Gets a Diagnosis

This is a children's book about having a family member with depression. So many kids today are watching the people they love struggle with their mental health. This series is created in honor of the author's family. They learned the importance of mental health through witnessing her recovery from alcoholism. She is the qualifier for her kids, but many other disorders have similar impacts on families. There are many resources available to help adults, but fewer supports for the children of families in crisis. Told from the perspective of a child, these books meet children where they are, make them feel less alone, and show them families can heal together.
