Jamil Davis is the second in command of M.A.B. (Maple Avenue Boys) a statewide drug cartel headquartered in Newark, NJ. He was set up and wrongly convicted for murdering an undercover agent at a club on the night in question.

Jamil has dreams while incarcerated to escape reality, and he has a gift to revisit and control his dreams. Jamil has repeated dreams of the day in question and the events leading up to his conviction for murder.

He looks for clues in his dreams to find evidence to help free himself by discovering what happened behind the scenes. Jamil's struggle for treedom is not without pitfalls at almost every turn. He must learn to accept help from friends, strangers, and enemies. He learns to navigate around prison politics and maintain his sanity before he loses control of his dreams and ultimately his life.

Jamil must use his dreams to solve the mystery of who is behind his setup and find a way to free himself before he loses himself and his life.
