The curtain closes,

crashing down on the stage.

You crash into me.

Somehow, the silent city streets manage to entangle poets in their Machiavellian agenda. Where pens never run dry and the Seine always flows forward, artists of all callings come together to learn that heartbreak is okay here.

But I'm only here to keep a broken promise.

Maybe it's a confession, or a prayer, or an excuse. Fearfully, it may be a reason to persevere. Back when dreaming was safe and hope was abundant, Lova promised herself that she would travel to Paris and paint the Eiffel Tower. It was a silly, little dream made by a silly, little girl, but the promise was made nonetheless- and so it must be kept.

Step into the third installment of The Traveler's Journals and explore the pages Lova filled while making her way through France. Welcome heartbreak in the city, vanity in the countryside, and the restoration of dreams beneath towering lights.

Not every love is meant to last a lifetime, but every love brings sanctuary.
