The Question in the Dancer's Kiss: The Book of Sound

Beginning in the seconds after Book One ends, The Question in the Dancer's Kiss finds Asher and Caroline as they discover that Skysill has grown much too complicated for casual drinking. Asher's infatuation with Caroline becomes more and more dangerous, and the ghosts in town multiply. When Asher agrees to authenticate a mysterious painting in Los Angeles, a painting somehow linked to Samantha, questions are suddenly everywhere: what did the Brazilians and Julian have to do with each other? With this painting? How is Samantha connected? Why do people keep trying to kill him? And, as his family secrets are revealed and his own powers grow, Asher's most important question becomes The Question in the Dancer's Kiss.
