Kinnakeet Stories

Kinnakeet Stories collects a series of stories from the people of the rugged coast of Hatteras Island. Whether from Kinnakeet or only recently having touched its shores, the characters in these tales have all been shaped by the land and sea along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. In this collection of ten short stories, Kinnakeet is a backdrop to people's lives, whether in the present or from in the past. Even as they move through life, the island remains with them, as footprints in the soul, shaping their world of today and tomorrow.
