The interest of this author in superluminal (faster than light) motion has been evident for many years. This book develops the dynamics of superluminal motion at the quantum level. It then proceeds to generalize ElectroWeak Theory and Strong Interaction Theory to incorporate faster than light motion within them using new duplex and quadplex forms of quantum field theory developed by the author.

Duplex and Quadplex theories combine sublight and superluminal motion within individual quantum fields. These theories avoid the pitfalls of earlier efforts to understand faster than light motion. Particles are stable against drops into the vacuum by having a normal (sublight) part that prevents collapse. They also have a tachyonic (faster than light) part for internal superluminal motion. There are no anomalies. One may "see" earlier times but one cannot influence them. Time travel is not supported.

The possibility that the internal tachyon part may transform a particle to superluminal motion through interactions is explored.

Sublight (bradyon) and tachyon dynamics are examined in great detail. Then Duplex and Quadplex quantum field theories are developed for use in ElectroWeak and Strong Interaction Theories. These theories unite easily within our four dimension space-time using a quadplex formalism with four real-valued 4-dimension coordinate systems. One coordinate system for space-time; one for ElectroWeak interactions; and two for SU(4) Strong Interactions (that form a complex 4-dimension fundamental SU(4) representation.)

The origin of these new unified theories of ElectroWeak and Strong Interactions is in Cosmos Theory where their representation dimensions are adjacent in our universe's array of dimensions. Their form suggests the unification of these interactions.

These theories provide a new view of the internals of fundamental fermion particles and fields. They are naturally compatible with Cosmos Theory. They give a new quantum view of the internal characteristics of fermions in ElectroWeak theory.

The book concludes with the development of a theory of total Conserved complex momentum in which the total real and total imaginary momentum parts are not separately conserved. Due this development, one can envision starships that would be capable of faster than light speeds using engines that generate complex momentum thrust.
