Our Inventors are unsung heroes of the culture and society. Without their extraordinary creativity and impactful contributions, many elements of everyday life wouldn't exist. While many of their inventions remain, only a minority of African American inventors received their just due. When Super Bowl champion and restaurant chain owner, Kayvon Webster, learned about the impact of the inventors covered in his second literary publication, he was inspired to shine a light on their inventions and legacies.
