Dr. Sharon F. Shum has devoted her life to supporting children. She has spent
26+ years in public education owns her own business, taught as an adjunct professor, and is a children's book author. Besides writing The Influence of Written Formative Feedback on Student Learning in Elementary Mathematics (2016), her work includes the children's book Somethin' Out Of Nothin released in 2023, and now The Hoodie.
Her books are geared toward not only youth but teachers, parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Understanding our children and learning how to support them is one of life's biggest rewards and biggest challenges.
