Piper Learns to Serve (Book 2) is the true story of Piper's intensive training in South Texas to become a registered therapy dog. Beginning her special training with a group of registered dogs, Piper tells her story of overcoming her fears and insecurities about learning all the responsibilities, commands, and duties needed to become a registered therapy animal who comforts people in health care institutions that may be ill, injured, or in hospice care. Piper Learns to Serve is also a guideline for prospective therapy dog owners to educate and encourage them to join this much-needed service in today's healthcare system.
