Happy the horse has a wonderful life, living with other horses on a Texas farm. One day he discovers there is a donkey, on the neighboring farm, who is living a life that is much different than his own. Happy and the donkey become friends, even though the other horses exclude the donkey, because he is different. A series of events ultimately change the minds and hearts of the other horses, causing them to realize that everyone deserves friendship and love.
