The Slow Goodbye

In this book the author addresses the hurting heart who is experiencing saying goodbye to the ones they love as they watch them struggle with medical issue from cancer to dementia to the persistent health issues that plague those with chronic disease. The slow goodbye isn't a final parting but a grieving heart of saying goodbye to the person you once were. The author has struggled with chronic health issues and had many family members and close friends as well as clients who experienced things such as cancer and Parkinson's disease as well as dementia seen through clients.
