Plastic Land: A True Trash Tale About Plastics - 9798990369900

Plastic Land is a rhyming trash tale about plastics: how they're made, what we do with our plastic trash and why that trash has become an environmental problem for our planet and all of its inhabitants. Through clever rhymes and rich, flowing illustrations, readers of all ages can better understand and consider the materials, resources and disposal methods we use every day.

With a parent/ teacher guide and a series of investigative challenges, teachers, parents and grandparents can use this book to introduce children to environmental and material science, waste management, and ways that we can better protect the earth and slow the use of our resources. By reconnecting our minds to the waste we make and its impact on the planet, we can teach the next generation how to make more sustainable decisions.
