Charlotte & Boo Boo - Paperback

Eight-year-old Charlotte wants to be a doctor when she grows up, just like Dr. Granny Snow. Her grandmother gives her a doctor's bag for her birthday, with a real stethoscope and bandages. Charlotte tries to save every animal that she finds: frogs, bumblebees, butterflies, and a turtle. Some she can save, others she can't.

She explains that compassion is being kind, even to people you don't really like. The kids all roll their eyes, but once Charlotte understands what compassion means, she explores her own nature and finds heroes she admires.
