Ragged Sky: Last Flight of the Spirit Walker

When young Nilo learned that his father, The Sublime Costan, Master of Escape, had been found catatonic in Moroskaya's capital, he was on the next train out. But seeing Costan face-to-face shed no light on how he came to be there, and the hospital's files pointed to, amazingly, the Spirit Walker, a foreign airborne luxury liner. Nilo has to do something-the tiny Moroskayan Soviet Republic is coming apart at the seams and civil war is imminent. If Nilo can't discover the truth before the shooting starts he may never restore his father's mind . . .

Nilo begs his sister Lilya, test pilot of Moscow's latest aircraft, to fly him him to the ship. She flatly refuses-until he reveals that agents of the infamous Secret Police are now relentlessly dogging him.

Now these two must strike out in search of the Spirit Walker and the answers they hope lay within. Entangled in a murky world of maneuvering agents where nothing is as it seems, they discover a shocking truth behind it all.
