Introverted Lucy has dreamed of singing with the community choir for over twenty years.

Just when she thinks she has finally found a place of joy and belonging, the director falls prey to a mysterious illness. When a shadowy figure from Lucy's past shows up at rehearsal, she fears the worst-the choir has been infiltrated by dark song magicians bent on using music for evil.

Her only chance is to convince a complete stranger to train her in the ways of song magic. Lucy gathers her friends to the fight, but will it be enough to protect an audience of thousands from the new director's menacing influence?
