Quigley the Quiet Hedgehog is a delightful story about a self-confident, assertive hedgehog embracing his introverted nature. He enjoys reading, creating, adventures, friends, and solitude. In a world that often makes introverts feel out of place, Quigley demonstrates how he finds freedom in serenity. The purpose of this book is to help redefine introversion as a positive attribute. It advocates for quiet kids and challenges us to grow our emotional intelligence by being intentional in accepting the quiet world around us. "Quigley the Quiet Hedgehog" is aimed for preschool and elementary children, ages 2-10 encouraging their quiet temperament at home, at school, and in social situations. In a world that views exuberance and the extrovert ideal as a virtue, Quiet Quigley helps introverts grow up valuing their quiet soul.
